Chance of morning showers will give way to more widely scattered thunderstorms by afternoon. Lots of water vapor in the atmosphere so we could see heavy rains from these storms. These storms may not move very quickly, potentially leading to flooding. High temperature in the mid 70s. Winds light and variable. Rainfall between .1-.25", higher amounts locally with thunderstorms.

BIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE IN THE NEWS
KU's Biology and Environmental Science have an impact on the local community. The majority of the funds to purchase the plants were raised by our students at the Earth Day celebration on campus. All the plants are in and volunteers are lugging water like crazy. With a little help from Mother Nature, the garden will stand as a tangible representation of the connection between our University, our program, and the community and environment that surrounds them.
