KU students, under the guidance of Dr. Khori Newlander, assistant professor of anthropology/sociology, were featured on WFMZ yesterday as they dig to unearth artifacts in Stoddartsville, Pa.  The former town near Blakeslee, Monroe County, was started in the early 1800s by wealthy Philadelphia merchant John Stoddart.

Cold front pushes through during the morning hours with some cool air. Temperatures will be about 10-15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Dew points will be lower as well. Wind flow shifts to the northeast. A comfortable day in store compared to the last 72 hours. High temperature in the low-80s. Winds northeast at 8-12 mph.
