TODAY'S WEATHER

(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Mostly cloudy for the morning with a threat of showers and thunderstorms by afternoon. The combination of daytime heating and low level moisture will create an unstable atmosphere capable of producing some heavy rains. Instability does not look great for severe weather but we could have some gusty winds with any popup storm. High temperature in the upper-70s. Winds southeast at 3-5 mph. Rainfall between .1-.25" with higher amounts where storms occur.
