A very active weather day is in store for Monday. A cold front will pass through the area possibly triggering severe weather as it passes by midday. Strong winds are the primary threat with hail being a secondary threat. Periods of heavy rain are likely as the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Kutztown. Be alert to fast moving thunderstorms by the afternoon. High temperature in the low-80s. Winds south at 9-11 mph. Rainfall rates between 1-2", with higher amounts where storms occur. Local rain amounts could be as high as 4". Remember: do not drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don't drown.

Please join the Procurement Services Office and the Business Office in offering condolences to Mary Vink, Procurement Services, for the loss of her father, Andrew Neupauer, on Friday, June 16. Calling hours will be held today, Monday, June 19 from 6:30-8 p.m. at O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 20 at Our Lady Help of Christians, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to OLHC or the Fellowship Community c/o the funeral home.

We will be voting on delegates to attend District Council 88 Educational Leadership Conference to be held at Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center, August 18 - 20, 2017. We will also be discussing changes to our local constitution. Hoping to see you at our next meeting in MSU 250 at 5 p.m., Monday, June 19 (change in room).

UPDATED LOT A2 / A3 CLOSURE
Rickenbach Learning Center / Beekey Education Center
Weather permitting, the southern half of Lot A2 will be closed beginning Wednesday, June 21 to complete paving repairs and line striping. During this time, parking will be available in the northern half of Lot A2, and all of Lot A3. I apologize in advance for the disruption. Questions or concerns should be directed to the project manager, Christine Sutjak, at csutjak@kutztown.edu.

KU TO HOST SUMMER FILMMAKING INSTITUTE
June 19 - 23
The Kutztown University Department of Electronic Media will host a Summer Filmmaking Institute (SFI) June 19-23. SFI is a week-long filmmaking program designed to provide an intense and rewarding introduction to the ever-evolving world of digital filmmaking. It offers an introduction to the theories and techniques of digital movie making for students of all ages. On campus housing is available for the duration of the institute. MEN'S BASKETBALL DAY CAMP
June 19 - 23
The KU Men's Basketball staff is holding a summer basketball day camp from June 19 - 23. The cost of the camp is $175. It is for boys and girls in grades 3-12 who have played basketball or who would like to learn how to play. The camp runs daily from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Keystone Arena. If you are interested in signing up or would like more information on the camp, please contact Tom York, assistant coach, Men's Basketball at 610-683-4366(O) or e-mail tyork@kutztown.edu.  All proceeds from the camp go toward men's basketball scholarships. Come out and support men's basketball and elevate your game.
