DR. WILL TOWNE TO RIDE ACROSS AMERICA FOR A CAUSE
June 23
Kutztown University’s very own retired biology professor, Will Towne, will embark on a cross-country bike ride June 23. Beginning in Oregon and ending in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, his journey will take him 3,695 miles across America, and he is doing it for a great cause. Joshua Wentworth Wesner, son of KU’s longtime field hockey coach, Betty Wesner, was a KU student who passed away in 2000 after his battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Follow Towne’s “Ride Across America,” and learn more about who Josh Wesner was and how you can help support students who share his dream through the Joshua W. Wesner Memorial Scholarship. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES
I want to thank everyone who came to my retirement party to wish me a fond farewell. I am so grateful for all of the friends I have made over the 29 years of working at Kutztown University. I received many cards, gifts and of course, lots of hugs. I will miss you all. I especially want to thank Bernard McCree and the folks in Financial Aid for all of their love and support. It’s been a great ride.
