MARK WOLFMEYER PLENARY SPEAKER AT PAMTE
Dr. Mark Wolfmeyer, Department of Secondary Education, delivered the plenary talk at the Pennsylvania Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (PAMTE) conference held at Shippensburg University on Thursday, May 16. The title of Wolfmeyer’s talk was “Preparing Mathematics Teacher Candidates for Teaching with Equity” and featured selections from his book “Mathematics Education: A Critical Introduction,” (Routledge, 2017).

CONDOLENCES
Please join our office in offering our sincerest condolences to assistant director, David Ilgenfritz and his daughter Lindsey, Class of 2023, for the loss of his father, Thomas Ned Ilgenfritz. Mr. Ilgenfritz, 91, passed away June 18 in his hometown of Lebanon, Pa. He was a former Navy Seabee and veteran of the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Anna Rose Croce Ilgenfritz. Services for Mr. Ilgenfritz were held June 25, with burial at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Our thoughts and prayers go out to David and his family for their loss. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to our office for the Ilgenfritzes.

LUNCH AT THE FOLK FESTIVAL
KU faculty and staff are invited to have lunch at the festival, June 29 - July 7.
