KEVIN MCCLOSKEY INVITED TO JOURNAL THROUGH COMICS
Kevin McCloskey, Department of Communication Design, was invited by The Comics Journal to contribute a Cartoonist's Diary for their website. His essay, "The Wide World of Kutztown," is based on his experiences sketching in Kutztown during the pandemic. Five daily episodes appear this week at the website: http://www.tcj.com. McCloskey is retiring this summer, after 30 years teaching illustration at Kutztown University, to devote his time to his children's books.

WEATHER
Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger
The high pressure that has been in control the past several days remains locked in, keeping any precipitation that tries to encroach from the south at bay. Skies will remain fair, humidity low and temperatures in the upper 70s.
