RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT- PROFESSOR DAVID WAGAMAN
The Department of Business Administration announces the July 2020 retirement of professor Dave Wagaman. Wagaman graduated in 1980 from Kutztown University. After completing his masters in taxation at Drexel, Wagaman joined the KU faculty in 1984. During his 36 years at KU, he cultivated and maintained an overflowing Rolodex of contacts to help his students network and find terrific job opportunities, often with one of the big four accounting firms. In 2008, professor Wagaman received the Wiesenberger Award for Excellence in Teaching. As a tribute to everything Wagaman has done for KU and his students through the years, the KU Foundation and accounting alumni have set up “The Dave Wagaman ’80 Scholarship,” that will provide support for students in perpetuity.
