PARSON DIGITAL ART AT COMPUTER VISION WORKSHOP
Saturday, June 19, the video piece, “Observer Participant I,” by Dale Parson of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, debuted in the juried Computer Vision Art Gallery of the International Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference, on-line for 2021. The piece explores the reflections and projections of an observer into the field of perception, participating in the construction of reality. The technical approach is inspired by the reflective infinity rooms of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
