COMMUNICATION DESIGN RANKED AMONG TOP 10 IN PA
Kutztown University's Department of Communication Design was ranked eighth in Animation Career Review’s 2021 Top 10 Graphic Design School Programs in Pennsylvania. The 2021 list is Animation Career Review’s seventh annual ranking compilation for graphic design. More than 700 schools with graphic design programs were considered in preparation for this year's rankings. KU was the lone Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institution recognized. HR MOVE
Human Resources will be moving from the Kemp Building, Monday June 28, and will be operating remotely until late July. Onsite fingerprinting will be suspended until we are relocated into the former Admissions House. Staff are available by phone, email, AskHR or Zoom, and may be available in person on campus by advance arrangement. If you need to speak with someone, voicemail messages will be checked regularly and returned in a reasonable amount of time. DOROTHY SIRAVO RETIREMENT
The Department of Art congratulates Dorothy Siravo on her retirement at the end of June. Dorothy began her KU career in the Office of Academic Affairs in 2008 before becoming secretary for the Departments of Geography and Art. She has been a wonderful colleague and great advocate for the arts and geography, and she was awarded the CVPA Award for Staff Excellence this spring. Please stop by the Department of Art, 115 Sharadin Arts Building, 1-3 p.m., Monday, June 28, to congratulate Dorothy and enjoy some refreshments. Thank you, Dorothy, for everything.
