PARTICIPATORY ART EXHIBIT BY KU PROFS, STUDENTS
"Make, see, do, reflect, learn and chill" are some of the things you can do at a unique hands-on exhibit at the Goggleworks in Reading, Pennsylvania, until June 23. "Against the Wind" explores the sensitive topics of creativity, addiction and mental illness with a variety of installations that invite the public to contribute. The show is in conjunction with a gallery exhibit of the work of the artist Amos Lemon Burkhart, the son of Kutztown University professor Ann Lemon, who tragically passed away in a drug-and-alcohol related drowning in May 2018. An opening reception will be held 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 11, in the Rolf and Renate Schmidt Gallery at the Goggleworks. For more information go to goggleworks.org or amoslemon.org.
