EDD STUDENTS PRESENT AT HUMAN DIVERSITY CONFERENCE
The College of Education's Education Doctorate in Transformational Teaching and Learning program was well-represented at the 10th annual Human Diversity Conference at Kutztown University on Friday, Feb. 28. Eleven doctoral students from each of the program's three cohorts presented on an array of education research topics and projects. Kutztown's Ed.D. program is one of over 100-member institutions in the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) consortium. Rooted in social justice, the Ed.D. program is dedicated to developing transformational classroom leaders.

ADDICTION COUNSELING CONCENTRATION OPEN HOUSE

Learn more about the Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Addiction Counseling and meet the faculty 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, in the Georgian Room, Old Main. This program trains counselors to provide competent and ethical counseling services to a diverse group of individuals across a wide variety of settings. WELCOME NEW DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
The Division of University Relations and Athletics welcomes Leanne Recla as the university’s new director of Marketing. Recla comes to KU from Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she served as Marketing and Publications specialist for the past three years. She brings an extensive background in social/digital media and journalism to KU. Recla begins her new role this week and her responsibilities will include oversight of KU’s marketing and branding, photography, social media, design and print media.
