Mobile Mammograms Returning to KU March 31; Register Today
The Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute will bring its mobile mammography coach to Kutztown University, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Thursday, March 31, in the Student Recreation Center parking lot. The screening service will be offered to women 40 or older who have not had a mammogram in the past year and no prescription needed. The event is open to the entire community. Post-traditional and graduate students as well as staff, faculty and community members can benefit from this opportunity. There are also grant-funding opportunities for those without insurance; those interested should contact the Lehigh Valley Health Network for more information. Sarah Mailloux - Associate State Director of Programs and Policy
The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center announces Sarah Mailloux as associate state director of programs and policy. Mailloux succeeds Sonya Smith, who joined the New York SBDC as state director in December 2021. Mailloux was recently selected from a nationwide search and previously served as program manager at Temple University SBDC, as well as operations and communications manager at the lead office of the Delaware SBDC. Mailloux joins the state office with a diverse, well-rounded background with the SBDC network since 2018. While at the Temple University SBDC, Mailloux had many responsibilities, including managing their Center of Excellence for Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. While at the Lead Office of the Delaware SBDC Mailloux’s primary responsibilities included managing programs and operations; this included providing oversight and management of staff, metrics and data management, strategic implementation, marketing, process improvement, grant reporting, programs and operations and change management.

This session, 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 via Zoom, will review the value and process of building job descriptions for every role in your company. Specifically, our team will walk through how to leverage your job descriptions as a tool for workforce alignment and recruitment strategies. Objectives for this session:
- We will review performing a job analysis.
- Examine what elements of a job description can protect and hurt you.
- Review scenarios where job descriptions were used as a driver of efficiency and effectiveness and where they have created liability for employers.
- Share tools and resources you can bring back to the office and use to build your job description in a compliant and swift fashion.

Andrew Dunn Jr. Finishes Career as National Runner-Up
Andrew Dunn Jr. capped one of the greatest Kutztown University wrestling careers of all-time with a national runner-up finish in the heavyweight weight class at the 2022 NCAA Division II Championships inside Chaifetz Arena, Saturday night. Dunn Jr. overcame the cancellation of the 2020 championships and Kutztown's 2020-21 season due to the pandemic, staying in top form on and off the mat to earn a shot at defending his 2019 national title. Top-ranked heavyweight, Dunn Jr. was unbeaten at 23-0 entering the title match against second-ranked and also unbeaten Darrell Mason (21-0) out of Minnesota State. Mason defeated Dunn Jr. 5-3 to claim the title. Dunn Jr. won 61 consecutive matches across parts of three seasons prior to the championship bout and compiled a 69-3 overall record (.958), 22 pins, 15 major decisions and three technical falls. The Bethlehem native totaled 91 collegiate wins including his redshirt freshman season at Virginia Tech in 2017-18. He holds three of the of the program's top eight season winning percentages (1.000 in 2019-20; .958 in 2021-22; and .929 in 2018-19) and ranks in a tie for ninth at KU in career victories. Dunn Jr. is in elite company among Kutztown wrestling greats as one of three three-time All-Americans (2019, 2020, 2022) along with Kohlby O'Donnell (1998, 2001, 2002) and Ziad Haddad (2013, 2014, 2015).
