March 19: Campus Power Outage

The university will experience a campuswide power outage Saturday, March 19, due to necessary maintenance performed by the university's electricity provider. Campus is scheduled to be without power between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Elevators will not be accessible after 6 p.m. March 18, and will be brought back online the evening of March 19. Dining facilities will not be impacted by the outage, as well as a few buildings along Main Street: Human Resources, Education House, Poplar House, KU Foundation buildings and Boxwood House. This outage is required by the university's electricity provider and is not the result of any work performed or scheduled by KU's facilities department. Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this process. Please plan accordingly.
