Franfit. Open Your Eyes to what Opportunities Exist for Your Clients

Faculty Mentorship Award Nominations Deadline March 22

The award is open to all current faculty members. You may nominate a colleague or yourself. The selection committee considers candidates’ exemplary contributions to one or more of the following categories:
- Guiding students toward independent work.
- Expanding research opportunities to reach new communities or groups.
- Encouraging public presentation of research ideas.
- Supporting students from underrepresented communities.
- Offering academic and career advice, including assisting students advancing to graduate school.
- Implementing Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experiences or CURES.
- Publishing alone or with students on teaching and learning effectiveness in undergraduate research.

Senate Governance Committee nominations are now being accepted for the following elected positions:
- One tenured-faculty representative to the Grade Appeal Board (one VPA faculty). This is a three-year position. To self-nominate to be on the ballot, please complete this electronic form.
- Four faculty representatives, tenured or tenure track, for Strategic Planning and Resources Committee (two CLAS, two non-teaching faculty: 3-year term). To self-nominate to be on the ballot, please complete this electronic form.
- Two faculty representatives, tenure or tenure track, to the Committee on Committees (one COB, one LAS). This is a three-year term. To self-nominate to be on the ballot, please complete this electronic form.
