UGRC Hires Social Media Coordinator
Undergraduate Research and Creativity is delighted to announce that Abby Regensburger has stepped into the newly-created role of UGRC coordinator of social media. Abby is a communication studies major with minors in social media theory and strategy, art and women, gender and sexuality studies. As UGRC social media coordinator, her duties will include establishing and maintaining a social media presence for UGRC, encouraging audience engagement with social media platforms and the UGRC website, and updating and maintaining the UGRC website. Please contact Abby (arege198@live.kutztown.edu) with stories about the work you and your UGRC mentees are doing. Thanks to Abby, UGRC now has an Instagram account.

National Intermural Recreational Sport and Wellness Expo
Join us 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31, for the National Intermural Recreational Sport and Wellness Expo. Light refreshments will be provided. There will be wellness experts, free fitness and health assessments, noon mindfulness with Aliyah, DIY wellness gardens and bags and mental health professionals. We will discuss what to do (and not to do) when uninvited visitors come to campus to expel hateful rhetoric. Reminder: Deadline for Schellenberg Award Nominations
The John P. Schellenberg Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning was established by John P. Schellenberg, professor emeritus of physical science, faculty, alumni and friends to recognize an early career faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding work within the mission of the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching (CET). To be eligible for the award, an individual must have been on the faculty fulltime at least three, but not more than seven years. The recipient will be chosen based on the following three areas: 1. Pedagogy and Curriculum Innovation; 2. Learning Technology Innovation; 3. Assessment and/or Research on Learning. Please submit a nomination letter and curriculum vitae to Dr. Karen Rauch at rauch@kutztown.edu by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 8. Nominated candidates are also required to submit their own letter (maximum of two pages) that clearly outlines their qualifications in all three CET mission categories. This letter should likewise be sent to rauch@kutztown.edu.
