Should hopefully return to at least partly sunny skies today as weak high pressure moves in for today and tomorrow. Still can't rule out an instability shower or two, however. Highs around 70. Soft west breezes.

May 25, 1966:  The Kutztown State College baseball team beats Millersville to win the conference championship, the first baseball championship for Kutztown.

CAMPUS WIDE FERTILIZER AND WEED CONTROL APPLICATION
On May 25, 2016, Tomlinson Bomberger will be on campus do our annual spring fertilizer and weed control application.  They will start around 6:30am.  Please avoid walking across turf areas until they have dried.  Depending on the weather that day, the turf is typically dry within 30 minutes of the application being finished.  A rain date has not been scheduled.  Should the application be postponed because of rain, a new date will be posted in the Daily Brief.  Thank you for your patience.

STEAMworks' insurgent campaign to be your favorite 3D-printing spot in the rebooted Rohrbach Library never stops! Now in addition to our cool tools, our great Maker library, and our welcoming and supportive crew, we've got our own currency! Pick up some Rohrbucks at the Campus Store (while perusing the bargains at their big clearance sale) and use them at STEAMworks to make a custom decal for your laptop or window, a stylish button, or something only you can imagine.

ENTERPRISE CAR RENTALS - UPDATE ON PAVING SCHEDULE
During maintenance of the D2 parking lot May 25 - June 1, Enterprise vehicles scheduled for drop off in D2 will be dropped off directly across the street at the Dixon parking lot. The D2 key drop box will remain accessible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jen Prevoznik in the KU Card Office at 610- 683-4826.

GOLDEN BEAR ATHLETICS

4x800M Relay Team Wins PSAC Title
Kutztown University's men's 4x800m relay team made history for the second straight year at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Last year, a school-record was set. Saturday, that record was broken again in a title-winning run at Mansfield University. The quartet of Naeb Mengisteab, Devonte King, Andrew Thompson and Jared Luckanitz turned in the best relay of their careers Saturday. They won the race by more than two seconds with a final time of 7:45.28, breaking last year's school-record that Mengisteab and Thompson were a part of in a second-place run.
