The Communication Design department is excited to announce our third Hate the Hate art creation day Friday, May 19, from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. in rooms 209 - 212 of the Sharadin Arts Building. We will spend the day with students from local high schools and middle schools to discuss tolerance, celebrate diversity and make inspiring images. The students will formulate their messages, hand carve printing blocks, ink and print multiple copies that they can trade and share. The images and messages created at this event will be positive and non-partisan in nature. We will be working with several image making techniques such as silk screening, letterpress and block printing.

STOREROOM INVENTORY
May 22 - 25
The University Storeroom will be conducting our annual inventory the week of May 22 - 25. During this time the Storeroom will be unable to make campus deliveries. We will resume our regular delivery schedule on Friday, May 26. While the Storeroom is conducting inventory, the SAP system will not allow users to process material reservations online. The Storeroom will begin running the necessary transactions in preparation for inventory at 1 p.m., Friday, May 19. It is imperative that campus users refrain from attempting to use the material reservation transaction codes during this time. The system will resume accepting material reservation transactions beginning Friday, May 26.

Please remember that users should NOT attempt to input material reservations during this time, the transaction will not only be rejected but it will also have an impact on the storeroom inventory process. If you have any questions, concerns, or emergency needs during this time, please feel free to contact Tim Good, storeroom supervisor at x-34139 or via email at good@kutztown.edu.

FIRE ALARM TESTING
Through June 8
Annual fire alarm testing will be conducted in the university's education and general purpose buildings, during the next several weeks. This testing is performed to ensure the alarm and mass notification systems are functioning properly. While every effort has been made to schedule this testing around classes, events and other special activities during the daytime hours, test technicians will also be conducting testing during the evenings and some Saturdays due to unavoidable conflicts during the weekday. We appreciate your cooperation while we ensure our life safety systems are operating optimally.
