DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK GRADUATION CEREMONY
A virtual graduation and pinning ceremony was held Friday, May 1, celebrating our 2020 DSW, MSW and BSW graduates. More than 230 connections were live for the ceremony which included graduates joined by family and friends. Each graduate was awarded a virtual pin to identify their degree. Thanks to Dr. Ed Hanna, Andrea Snyder and Mary Bononno for their hard work as well as our graduate assistants and social work faculty for helping make this event special for our graduates and their families.

Coach's Corner is a weekly segment where fans get acquainted with Kutztown University head coaches. Our next coach in the spotlight is KU women's golf and wrestling coach Robert Fisher. Fisher received his bachelor's degree in special education for the visually impaired from Kutztown in 1995. He went on to serve as a teacher of the blind/visually impaired at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit, in Summerdale, Pennsylvania, from 1996-99. Read more.

ADDITION TO THE GEOGRAPHY FAMILY

Dr. Michael Davis and his wife Heather welcomed their second child, Robyn Sky Davis, at 3:49 p.m., Tuesday, May 12. Robyn weighed 9 lbs. 13 oz. Mother, father and big brother, Noah, are all doing fine. Congratulations Heather and Mike.
