A big thank you goes out to the many members of the KU community who worked so hard to make this May's commencement a true celebration for our graduates. COVID-19 made it challenging, but we all pulled together to show the amazingly-strong KU spirit. Many graduates and guests expressed their gratitude for the in-person ceremonies. The KU Commencement Committee is grateful for the commitment shown by all who made it possible.

RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR DENA LEWIS
The Department of Criminal Justice announces the May 2021 retirement of Dena Lewis. Dena’s career at Kutztown University began in May 2000 as secretary in the Elementary Education department. In January 2001, she was selected for a permanent position with the Department of Criminal Justice and Social Work. Dena will be retiring after 21 years at Kutztown University as the academic secretary with the Department of Criminal Justice. Dena has made an invaluable impact on the campus community. The department will miss her generosity and friendship. We wish Dena a well-deserved retirement, filled with happiness, good fortune, traveling and time with family.

2021 GOLDEN BEAR SUMMER BASKETBALL DAY CAMP
The Men's Basketball staff is having a basketball day camp for boys and girls in grades 3-12. The camp will run from June 21-25 with a daily schedule from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed as per state regulations. The cost of the camp is $175.
