TRIPLE AWARD WINNER LAUREN PASH
Lauren Pash is completing a double major (B.A. German/B.A. History) with a Pennsylvania German studies minor. This spring she won a selective German Society of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) scholarship. In addition, Pash is a spring 2021 dual award winner in the Department of Modern Language Studies, having been awarded both the Linda Oswald-Bogert Scholarship for Study Abroad and the David and Charlotte Veluska Endowed Internship for Pennsylvania German Studies. She will complete an internship at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center in the summer of 2021.

ART AND DESIGN PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES, FLEXIBILITY
Kutztown University’s Department of Art and Design debuts this fall. A merger of KU's current departments of Art and Communication Design, this retooled department will provide greater collaboration and additional resources to students and faculty. The blend of art and design allows both students and faculty to work across majors and increases electives and resources. Faculty will also have more opportunities to teach additional programs. KU SOFTBALL EARNS NO. 1 SEED; NCAA ATLANTIC REGION CHAMPIONSHIP
Kutztown University is the host site for the 2021 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championship, and host KU Softball will be the top seed of the six-team field. The tournament will run Wednesday, May 19, through Saturday, May 22. Information on game schedule, tickets and streaming can be found HERE.

RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RHONDA YORK
Rohrbach Library announces the retirement of Rhonda York. Rhonda, the exhibits/display coordinator for the library, has been with Kutztown University for 22 years. She has served in many capacities in the library during her career and has developed a great number of relationships throughout campus. Rhonda will be greatly missed, both by her library family and the KU community. We wish her the best as she enters a new and exciting chapter in her life. Rhonda’s last day will be Friday, May 21.
