Emily Bogner "Microbially"Geological Society of America 

Emily Bogner - left, geology major, presented a paper titled Microbially induced sedimentary structures in the Triassic Lockatong Formatin Newark Basin, Pa., USA. Dr. Edward Simpson and KU alumnus David Fillmore were co-authors. The paper was presented at the 2015 National Meeting of the Geological Society of America in Baltimore, Md. on Nov. 3.

Nov. 17, 1963:  Kutztown State College field hockey team earns its first victory in school history beating Albright College 2-1.  While field hockey had been played on campus for decades, it was only competing on an intercollegiate level for two years.

He will talk about his work, his process, and explain why interactive experiences are the future of web design on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in Sharadin Arts Building Room 120.  All faculty and students are invited to attend, learn about the work our faculty are doing, and participate in the discussion

KUMU TO APPEAR ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA
KUMU & KU STAFF IN PHILADELPHIA THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
Thursday morning will be an exciting one for Kutztown University.  The KU Marching Unit drum line and color guard have been asked to perform on Good Morning America, live at 8:30 a.m. The entire band will then march in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade which steps off immediately after their Good Morning America performance.  In addition two of our KU staff members will be balloon handlers.  Stacey Gambler (Communication Studies) and Tracy Reidenhour (Art Education& Crafts) will escort Strawberry Shortcake through the parade.  

You can watch everything on 6 ABC Philadelphia or your local ABC affiliate.  The festivities will also stream live on www.6abc.com should your local station not carry the parade for some reason.
