Kutztown University at Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show

KU AT PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART CRAFT SHOW
Kutztown University was well-represented at the 43rd Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show Sunday, Nov. 10. The Craft Show is a very competitive juried show, featuring artists from across the country, plus several international artists, including three KU alumni.

Kutztown University Football Wins Playoff Game, Home Again Saturday

FOOTBALL WINS PLAYOFF GAME, HOME AGAIN SATURDAY
The KU football team scored the game-winning touchdown in the final minute to win Saturday's NCAA first-round game, 33-31, against Tiffin University. KU advances to the NCAA Second Round for the first time since 2011 and will host Notre Dame College (Ohio) Saturday, Nov. 30, at Andre Reed Stadium. KU has never won an NCAA second-round game to advance to the regional final.

Field Hockey Season Ends at Final Four

FIELD HOCKEY SEASON ENDS AT FINAL FOUR
The magical 2019 season for the KU field hockey team came to an end one-win shy of the season's final game. Two first-half goals gave top-ranked West Chester University a 2-0 victory over KU Friday afternoon in an NCAA Division II National Semifinal. The Golden Bears won 15 games this season, the most for KU since 2007.

CLUBS ACEI AND KUET HOLD DONATION DRIVE
KU Equestrian Team (KUET) and Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) are collecting donations for animal and women’s shelters. Needs: shampoo, deodorant, brushes, soap, clothing (new/gently used), toys, backpacks, cleaning supplies, baby wipes and razors. Animals: collars/leashes (no metal), pee pads, brushes, treats (no rawhide), food, paper towels, used towels/blankets/sheets, saddles, horse items, carriers, bowls and detergent. Items can be brought to 210 Beekey Education Building, Dixon Hall and Beck Hall. We can pick up. Donation drive ends Saturday, Nov. 30.

JOIN US FOR A PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH CHRISTMAS
Dec. 7
Learn about our regional folk culture at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center’s annual Christmas on the Farm: A celebration of the holiday season and Pa. German Christmas traditions. Christmas on the Farm will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7. It is a free, fun and educational event for the whole family. CLAY CLUB ART SUPPLY DRIVE FOR AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Donate new and gently-used art supplies for Reading and Allentown public schools. We want to help more young people experience the expressiveness of art making. Collections boxes are located outside of 115 Sharadin Arts Building and inside 108 Sharadin Arts Building.
