Daily Brief
November 11, 2020

VETERANS DAY
Veterans Day – a day dedicated to the cause of world peace – honors all military veterans. Other countries celebrate Armistice Day and Remembrance Day on the same day, Nov. 11, the anniversary of the end of World War I. Military members and veterans leave their families to defend our country and our freedoms. Please express your gratitude.
Visit our website later today for more information on KU’s virtual flag raising ceremony and Dr. Hawkinson’s remarks.

Cold front to pass through the area during the day ending our streak of mild and pleasant weather. Lots of moisture associated with this front so expect periods of rain throughout the day. High temperature near 70. Winds south at 5 mph. Rainfall between 0.75-1 inch.
