FRONTLINE FRIDAY: GIOVANNI ORTIZ
KU is proud of alumni Giovanni Ortiz who is a front-line worker in Reading. Giovanni graduated in 2014 with a degree in criminal justice. He is currently in his third year with the Patrol Unit of the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L Reading Station. “It has been my dream job since I was a kid. I was introduced to State Troopers at a young age through camp cadet and have always admired them."

Guest speaker Ms. Anne Raish, J.D., principal deputy chief of the Disability Rights Section, Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, will speak virtually 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, about the importance of the ADA, the role that she and the Disability Rights Section play in upholding the ADA and the work that is yet to be done in guaranteeing equity for people with disabilities.
