WEATHER
Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger
Another bright day with fair skies and temperatures, not as downright cold as yesterday was, but still about 3 or 4 degrees below average. Look for highs at about 49 degrees coupled with breezy southwest winds upwards of about 15 mph at times. We tack another 10 degrees onto that high for your T.G.I.F. day tomorrow - something to look forward to.

VETERANS AWARENESS WEEK - SUCCESS
Veterans Awareness Week was a huge success because of all who participated. Many thanks to offices who co-sponsored events and offered discounts; staff who helped make our events more special and convenient; and to our veterans and military-affiliated who joined the festivities. We appreciate our guest speakers who gave their time and wisdom; advocates who always show up and give amazing support; and of course, our lawn display photo ops, R.E.D. button wearers and Virtual 5K participants. The walk 'n ruck event raised $3,798 for the Valor Clinic and two of KU's finest, Leah Cassellia and Christine Price, were winners of the event's surprise raffle. Thanks everyone and remember, dare to lead everyday ... that's the KU Veteran way.
T. Brown, Office of Military and Veterans Services
