HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINE CORPS
Remembering the service of the U.S. Marine Corps over two centuries in our history. The U.S. Marine Corps has been instrumental to nearly all conflict in U.S. history from the American Revolutionary War to the recent attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. Kutztown University salutes the service of all Marine Corps military members, veterans and family members.

VETERAN ALUMNI SPIRIT AWARD RECIPIENT
It is with great pleasure to announce Mr. Wynton Butler '90, B.S. Public Administration, as Kutztown University’s 2021 Veteran Alumni Spirit Award recipient. Butler will be recognized for his service to our nation and great contributions to the community during half time at KU's military appreciation football game on Saturday, Nov. 13. The presentation will be made by President Hawkinson, select representatives from our student veteran organization and Steel Battalion R.O.T.C. The PSAC championship game against Clarion University starts at 12:05 p.m. Read more here.

FIFTH CET FALL PRESENTATION
The CET is pleased to offer the fifth CET fall presentation "Meeting Student Needs, In and Beyond the Classroom" by Michael Covello, Department of Art & Design, and Dr. Wendy Ryan, Department of Biological Sciences,11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, via Zoom link https://kutztown.zoom.us/j/390059274. All are welcome, and participation certificates will be provided. Both projects are supported by a CET Pedagogical Development Grant, which is available again this semester. Faculty who are interested in applying for a CET grant are especially encouraged to attend this session for more information. More grant information can be found here. The application deadline is Nov. 15.
