TODAY AT 3 P.M.

#1 KU Women's Soccer Takes on Shippensburg
On Sunday, KU women's soccer won their first game since being ranked #1 in the nation beating Clarion 6-0.  Check out video highlights from that game here.  
KU takes on Shippensburg today at 3 p.m. on Keystone Field.  Come down and cheer on your Golden Bears!

Sunshine returns today and dew points will lower making for more tolerable breathing conditions finally, but temperatures will still be some 15 degrees above normal with highs topping out at about 80. Autumn temperatures return more tomorrow with about 8 more degrees shaved off of today's reading.

PET THERAPY

Come and get some puppy love Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. in 218 MSU. There will be several dogs in attendance, so take a break and come and get some "canine therapy." This event is open to students, faculty and staff. Please encourage your students to come, and make sure you stop by too.

FEMINISM AND THE MARTIAL ARTS
The KU Philosophy Club will meet Thursday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. in 325 MSU. Allan Bäck, Department of Philosophy, will present "Feminism and the Martial Arts: The Dilemma of Difference." "It's Good to be Golden" is this year's theme for Kutztown University's 2017 Homecoming celebration. Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 28, to be part of the fun. FanFest, sponsored by PSECU, runs from 1:30 - 4 p.m. on the DMZ.  Free activities include inflatables, zip line, balloon animals, caricatures and free food. After the game continue the fun at S'more Homecoming behind Risley Hall.
