2022 WINTER SESSION REGISTRATION
Registration for Kutztown University's 2021-22 winter session is open. Kutztown University's winter session is 100% online and a great opportunity for students to catch up, or simply focus on a course without the distractions of other classes or activities. Most online courses at KU use D2L, the university's learning management system. Registration is open through Thursday, Dec. 23, https://www.kutztown.edu/academics/summer-and-winter-education/winter-online.html.

High pressure over the Great Lakes will provide for an absolutely fantastic weather day. Morning fog will burn off and we should see mostly sunny skies and temperatures a good 15 degrees above normal. High temperature near 80. Winds southwest at 5 mph.

FIREWORKS DISPLAY SATURDAY, OCT. 16
Kutztown University will put an entertaining stamp on a full day of Golden Bear home athletic events Saturday, Oct. 16, with fireworks following the football team's matchup against Shippensburg. The action-packed Saturday begins with the nationally-ranked KU field hockey team hosting its Senior Day game against Slippery Rock 11 a.m., at Andre Reed Stadium. Women's soccer, also nationally ranked, is home to face East Stroudsburg 1 p.m., at Keystone Field. Golden Bear football, currently receiving votes in the national poll, concludes the day with a 5:05 p.m. kickoff against the Red Raiders at Andre Reed Stadium.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER 2021 PASSHE STEM CONFERENCE
Today, Friday, Oct. 15, is the submission deadline for the 2021 PASSHE-STEM Student Research Conference scheduled Saturday, Nov. 6, in-person at KU. The conference will feature a keynote speaker and contributed talks by both undergraduate and graduate students on STEM topics. Submit presentations here, and find more details on the conference website. Please encourage your students to present, either orally or as a poster presentation, and share this information with anyone who might be interested. Thanks.
