ADEEL TO PRESENT FALL 2021 CHAMBLISS LECTURE
M. Ashraf Adeel, Ph.D., will present the Fall 2021 Chambliss lecture 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, 183 McFarland Student Union Building. Titled "On the Very Nature of Understanding," the lecture will also be available via Zoom. Adeel is professor and department chair of philosophy. Read More.

ROCK THE FOUNTAIN
KU Rock Ensembles will rock Alumni Plaza, 6-7:30 p.m., tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 19. Bring a chair or sit on the steps to listen to award winning student groups. This might be one of the last fall concerts when the weather is cooperating. There’s another scheduled for Nov. 9, but that’s weather permitting.

REGISTER TODAY - MOBILE MAMMOGRAMS OCT. 28
The Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute will bring its mobile mammography coach to KU Thursday, Oct. 28. Screenings are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center parking lot. The screening service will be offered to women 40 or older who have not had a mammogram in the past year. No prescription is needed. There are also grant funding opportunities for those without insurance; contact the Lehigh Valley Health Network for more information. The event is open to the public.
