PRESIDENT MCFARLAND RETURNS TO KU
Dr. David E. McFarland, KU's 10th president, returned to campus Oct. 16. Dr. McFarland served as president for 15 years, from 1987 to 2002. He has coauthored multiple books on educational and engineering subjects, and has written articles for scholarly and professional journals on topics such as academic success and student athletes, effective teaching, academic advising, and engineering. WEATHER

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

The past few days were glorious if you didn’t mind the occasional gusty breeze. Today might even be better with less breeze and still very mild, in fact 12 degrees above average. Highs will be about 74 under fair skies and continued low humidity. A cold front will move through tonight and cooler air returns tomorrow, but still with plenty of sunshine.
