The National Alliance on Mental Illness, KU Chapter, and the Josh Johnson Sunshine Foundation sponsored an Aevidum training Oct. 19. Aevidum is a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention while shattering the silence that is often associated with these issues. Arranged by KU student, Isaias Oviedo, and Dr.Brenner. Other student participants included: Vanessa Tocket, Megan Farner, Lauren Wszolek, Giovannie Estronza, Skeisy Taveras, Sam Burns and Lauren Szuter.
