Fall Break

Fall Break is Monday, Oct. 10. There are no classes Monday, but the university and administrative offices will be open. Students and faculty should follow a Monday schedule Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Open Hour with Provost

Faculty, staff and students are invited to drop by and chat with Dr. Lorin Basden Arnold, provost, during her open office hour 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13 in the Bears Den, MSU. Faculty and staff who would like to have a conversation but for whom this time does not work, are welcome to contact the Office of the Provost at 610-683-4155 to schedule a time to meet.

Campus Wide Fertilizer and Weed Control Application

TruGreen will be on campus Monday, Oct. 10 to perform our annual fall fertilizer and weed control application. They will begin early Monday morning on the south side of campus, and finish on the north by the early afternoon. Please stay off treated areas until they are dry. This usually occurs within 30 minutes or so after the application is completed but can vary depending on weather conditions. Thank you.

The Student Recreation Center will operate under special hours:
- 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10.
The Keystone Hall Pool will operate under special hours:
- Open 8-9 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10.

Now Booking for Summer 2023

Lets talk about summer 2023. Conference and Event Services are currently accepting requests from our internal KU departments for camps and/or conferences for the 2023 summer season which runs from May 15 through Aug. 4, 2023.  If you are planning to bring people to campus for a summer program, please be sure to reach out to Honey Svoboda (svoboda@kutztown.edu) for pricing and availability of university facilities for your summer needs.  Please understand that with an increasingly-active summer it is important to reach out now to secure summer facilities.
