World College Radio Day

World College Radio Day began in 2011 and is celebrated annually the first Friday in October. Kutztown University Radio (KUR) is managed by Michael Regensburger, campus radio manager, and is staffed by more than 50 Kutztown University students. Faculty and staff interested in joining KUR can be trained to have their own radio show or help behind-the-scenes in the exciting world of radio. Zero experience is required. For schedules, shows and events, follow KUR1670 on Facebook and Instagram. To listen to KUR’s award-winning content, tune in by searching Kutztown University Radio on Spotify, at https://www.kutztown.edu/kur, via the TuneIn app or by radioing the 1670 AM frequency on campus.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month - Tip One

Criminals frequently use Google Docs to trick recipients into entering credentials into fake login pages. This is a common technique called a Credential Phishing Attack. Recognize the signs:
- Google Docs will not prompt for KU credentials
- Generic or suspicious sender, or the sender does not match the "from"
- Misspelling or grammatical errors
- Does it evoke emotion? Messages are often created to illicit an emotional response and get the recipient to open or click before analyzing the email
- Spoofed hyperlinks and websites
- Suspicious attachments
Report suspicious email to helpcenter@kutztown.edu and change your password immediately if you suspect you have clicked on a malicious link or attachment.
