TODAY'S WEATHER

(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Heat Advisory in effect for Thursday as Mother Nature wants to sneak in at least one more heat wave before the end of summer. Highs will top out in the low 90s and with rising dew points, it may feel closer to 100. Brutal, but not quite as brutal as the last major heat wave in August when dew points were even higher and it felt like 105+. Can't rule out a pop-up thunderstorm in the afternoon but most areas remain dry.

PSECU FOUNDERS' WEEK BEGINS TOMORROW
Make your plans to be at the PSECU Founders' Week Kickoff
Friday, September 9, Alumni Auditorium, McFarland Student Union

Programs at Noon and 5 p.m.

Come out to Alumni Auditorium this Friday for the premiere of the 30-minute video documentary that tells the Kutztown University story from the beginning.  Produced by KU's Electronic Media students last spring, the program is sure to get you ready for PSECU Founders' Week and KU's 150th birthday.

There will be a short overview of the entire PSECU Founders' Week prior to the documentary.  Afterward, there will be free Whoopie Pies (the official dessert of the KU 150) and refreshments in the lobby.  In addition, members of the Sesquicentennial History subcommittee will be available to discuss items that will be placed in the time capsule, which will be dedicated later in the week.

Help us celebrate our unrivaled past and unlimited future --- spend part of your noon hour with us Friday, or plan to join us for the 5 p.m. showing to end your work/class day.
