TEST OF KU ALERT SYSTEM
Sept. 3
There will be a test of the Kutztown University emergency alert systems 10:50 a.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 3. You will receive test messages through the Omnilert text message, email and Simplex mass notification systems, including campus loudspeakers. Messages will also be seen on the university website, social media and the desktop pop-up system. You will be able to dismiss the test alert on the desktop pop-up system immediately by clicking the acknowledge button provided on the screen. Thank you for your patience as we complete this required test.

If you are interested in playing basketball at lunchtime Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, you are invited to join faculty, coaches and staff for coed full court basketball. PA GERMAN CULTURAL HERITAGE CENTER’S GENEALOGY CONFERENCE
Sept. 13-14
Join us and explore Pennsylvania’s unique hybrid culture Friday, Sept. 13. The conference features visits to the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, the New Church Archive and Glencairn Museum, showcasing the collaborative exhibition “Hex Signs: Sacred and Celestial Symbolism in Pennsylvania Dutch Barn Stars.” On Saturday, Sept. 14, we will be hosting our Culture Conference at the Academic Forum. Speakers include Jeffery Marshall, Rev. Ed Rosenberry, William Woys Weaver and keynote speaker Mark Louden. WEBSITE OPEN WORKING SESSIONS

The web office has scheduled open working sessions to provide support for users working on
their sites. This is an opportunity for users to ask questions and receive support for website tasks. Sessions will be held 1-3 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 4 and 18, in 200 Stratton Administration Center. This is only for users who have already been trained in the new version of Ingeniux. You can see all available dates on this form. Registration is appreciated, but not required for open sessions. Please contact Kelly Smith if you have any questions.

OFFICE NAME CHANGES
The Office of Marketing and Communications will be called the Office of Marketing and Digital Media, effective immediately. WEBSITE TRAINING FOR NEW USERS
Do you hire students to assist in website tasks? Perhaps you are looking for a training session or refresher for yourself. We have scheduled one session every week through September for these needs. All users must go through training in order to gain access to the CMS. Users can sign up for a session at this link. Without signing up, participants will not have proper permissions in place, and training will not be effective. Please contact Kelly Smith with any questions.
