In honor of the centennial of women’s suffrage, the Women’s Center is kicking off a collaborative programming series that focuses on the struggles and triumphs of the women’s rights movement yesterday and today. The series will give voice to some of the excellent women who educate and advocate for students at KU. We are pleased to present: “EQUALI-TEA TALK” which will be held on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. via zoom. FREE ONLINE MODULES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center (PASBDC) in conjunction with Dr. Christine (CJ) Rhoads, M.Ed., D.Ed., Curriculum Specialist for COVID-19 Impacted Businesses, have created 24 free online educational modules to assist PASBDC clients and their employees in reopening safely. Dan Chen See, a student intern from Kutztown University and Carolina Moctezuma, assistant professor from the modern language department were also instrumental in the module development. The beginning of a new academic year is a good time to remind everyone about proper use of official Kutztown University trademarks. The university logo and seal, the athletic logos featuring the Golden Bear and paw, and images of the KU mascot, Avalanche, are all trademarked items. By law, these marks cannot be altered in any way without permission of the University Relations office. In addition, vendors reproducing the logos must be licensed through CLC Licensing. The current list of protocols and approved Kutztown University vendors can be found at: https://www.kutztown.edu/logos. Per Governor Wolf's Targeted Mitigation Order, please note the following when placing a room reservation request: School activities and gatherings not related to educational instruction that are held indoors are limited to no more than 25 people. This includes, meetings, assemblies, etc. Activities and gatherings held outdoors are limited to no more than 250 people. Maximum occupancy includes all individuals present at the event or gathering, whether they are students, staff or spectators. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
