TODAY: COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC
Hear why KU students chose to be vaccinated. KU will host a Moderna COVID-19 vaccination clinic 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., today, Friday, Sept. 17, at the East Gym of the Student Recreation Center. Clinics are free of charge and are open to students, employees and community members ages 18 and older. Registration is required. Participants must bring valid photo identification and health insurance identification card (participant health insurance will not be charged).

KU DINING SERVICES - NOW HIRING
Dining Services, managed by Aramark, employs more than 200 people and offers a range of full-time and part-time positions including student employment. In addition to competitive wages in the post-pandemic market, medical benefits and paid training; employees enjoy an array of other benefits, including an employee recognition program, winter and summer parties, free uniforms and shift meals and free undergraduate tuition. Dining Services employs team members in a wide range of support roles: dish room, utility, receiver, server, cook, sous chef, supervisor, barista, catering server and Chick-fil-A positions. A Rite-Aid flu clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29 in the Recreation Center, Seminar Room. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIR FORCE
The Air Force has approximately 328,200 active duty personnel, 69,200 reserve personnel, 106,700 air national guard personnel, and 145,700 civilian personnel. The service flies more than 5,300 crewed aircraft. These planes come in the form of some forty different airframes, ranging from the B-2 stealth bomber to the F-35 jet fighter to the VC-25, which is better known as Air Force One.
