PRESIDENT TO DEDICATE MEMORIAL TREES
Dr. Hawkinson will be dedicating two trees in Memorial Grove, 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, in front of Rohrbach Library. We will be remembering those faculty, staff and students who passed away during both the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years including students Louis Carbajal, Robert Carroll IV, Madison Cunningham, Katelyn Eder, Adnan Hazim, Albert Lee, Dmitri Piechota, Juan Reyes and Hannah Varn, and staff member Faith Riedel. Family members of these individuals will be present at the dedication. Everyone is welcome to attend.

2021 ANNUAL SAFETY/SECURITY REPORT NOW AVAILABLE
The Annual Security Report contains safety and security-related policy statements and crime statistics for Kutztown University. It includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Kutztown University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. In addition to crimes, KU also discloses fire safety information related to all on-campus student housing facilities. The Annual Fire Safety Report contains policy statements and fire statistics associated with each on-campus student housing facility. Both reports are available online at www.kutztown.edu/clery.

It is with sadness that I inform you that Daniel Weller, the husband of our faculty member, Dr. Mary Rita Weller, suddenly died over the weekend. Please join the faculty and staff of the Department of Social Work in offering condolences and words of support to our colleague. Celebration of life service will be held 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, Bean Funeral Homes, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, Pa.
