KU Climbs in 2022-2023 U.S. News and World Report Rankings
Kutztown University has been named a "Best Regional University" for 2022-2023 in the U.S. News and World Report's annual ranking of U.S. colleges and universities. U.S. News lists KU as No. 121 of the Best Regional Universities for the northern region, two spots higher than last year. KU has been ranked in the first tier since 2011. Additionally, KU ranks No. 44 among Top Public Schools for Regional Universities in the north. KU was one of seven institutions in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education that were ranked in the first tier as regional universities.

Getting Centered: Eight-Week Wheel Throwing Workshop with Victoria Baron
Everything tastes better using a mug or bowl you’ve made yourself. Join us as we explore the process of throwing clay on the wheel, while creating thoughtful and functional pottery. Together we will become more familiar with clay as a medium and hone our skills to create fun, functional work to enjoy with friends and family. Sketchbooks are encouraged, but not required and all skill levels are welcome. The cost of the class is $125 and will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 19 through Nov. 14 (Eight sessions, skipping Fall Break Oct. 10). Research Committee 2022-2023 Guidelines Now Available
The Research Committee provides funding to faculty and administrators to facilitate their research. The 2022-2023 Guidelines are now available. Please follow the link below for more information. New this year, a letter of intent must be submitted to Heather Arbuckle at firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, Oct. 17, with the title of the proposal only. We are requiring a letter of intent, so the office knows how many proposals to expect. Applications are due Monday, Oct. 31. Please note that there is $70,000 available for funding grants. The Research Committee will make awards in December 2022.
