Getting Centered: Eight-Week Wheel Throwing Workshop with Victoria Baron
Everything tastes better using a mug or bowl you’ve made yourself. Join us as we explore the process of throwing clay on the wheel, while creating thoughtful and functional pottery. Together we will become more familiar with clay as a medium and hone our skills to create fun, functional work to enjoy with friends and family. Sketchbooks are encouraged, but not required and all skill levels are welcome. The cost of the class is $125 and will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 19 through Nov. 14 (Eight sessions, skipping Fall Break Oct. 10). For more information, contact kuclayclub@gmail.com.

Weather
Meandering low pressure, which brought several damp days, will exit today. However, we may need to wait a few hours to see appreciable sunshine. With some luck, we might see sun earlier. You can count on higher temperatures at about 78.
