Patriot Day

Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance is observed Sept. 11 in honor of the individuals who lost their lives as a result of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Flags are flown at half-mast. Americans are to observe with a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m.

Rape, Aggression and Defense Training

Rape, Aggression and Defense Training, provided by Public Safety and Police Services, is free to female faculty, staff and students. Training is scheduled 6 p.m. Sept. 12, 13 and 15. First CET Fall Presentation

The CET is pleased to offer the first CET fall presentation "Scaffolding Research Methods in First Year Seminars" by Dr. Lynn Kutch, Department of Modern Languages. This CET presentation can be accessed 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, through Zoom here. Presentation details including abstract and speaker's short bio can be found on the CET website here. All are welcome and participation certificates will also be provided.

Fall 2022 SRI Dates

Contractually, the dates for evaluations each semester are set by APSCUF-KU. For Fall 2022, the following schedule will be used for SRIs:
For full-semester courses: Weeks 11 to 14 - Nov. 7 to Dec. 4.
For half-semester courses:
- First Half: Weeks 6 and 7 - Oct. 3 to Oct. 16.
- Second Half: Weeks 13 and 14 - Nov. 21 to Dec. 4.
