Jennifer Weidman Named KU Employee of the Month for June 2020

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Congratulations to Jennifer Weidman, director of Human Resources, on being named KU Employee of the Month for June 2020.
Weidman's nomination from Cheryl Brattley, assistant women's volleyball coach, reads:
"Anyone who has had the opportunity to work with Jennifer knows she goes above and beyond for the faculty, staff and students here at Kutztown. I have known Jennifer for over 10 years and she demonstrates both professionalism and enthusiasm within her role in Human Resources.
Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help others. Her commitment to creating a positive culture at KU is something that both people who interact with her on a daily basis and those who meet her for the first time are able to witness. She greets people with a warm smile and a welcoming, personal interest.
As a university employee, a graduate student at KU and a mom of a KU student, Jennifer embodies the dedication and commitment to all facets of higher education."
Nominations are collected from students, faculty and staff, and the Employee of the Month is selected by the Human Resources Advisory Council. A winner will be selected each month, and out of the 12 monthly winners one will be selected as Employee of the Year. The Employee of the Month will receive a plaque, reserved parking and a $100 monetary gift sponsored by President Hawkinson.
