KU to Host 40th Annual Job Fair for Educators as part of Internship and Job Fair Week March 8-11

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University's Career Development Center is set to host the 40th annual Job Fair for Educators Monday, March 8, as part of the university's Internship and Job Fair week, March 8-11, for university students and alumni. All events are virtual and registration is required at https://www.kutztown.edu/handshake.

The Job Fair for Educators will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, March 8, with more than 90 school districts attending. KU’s Job Fair for Educators has been connecting school districts from across the country with education students and alumni for four decades.

Career fairs are open to the entire student body, primarily juniors and seniors looking to begin their internship and job search, as well as university alumni.

The Human Services, Government and the Arts Fair is 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, with nearly 20 employers in attendance. The Business and STEM Fair is scheduled for 1-4 p.m., Thursday, March 11, with more than 30 employers attending.

Virtual career fairs allow students and alumni to:

  • Meet with employers. Interact with recruiters through video, audio or chat.
  • Discover new career opportunities. Get personalized recommendations based on their Handshake profile.
  • Never wait in line, ever. Pre-schedule 1:1 or group sessions with employers ahead of the fair or on the day-of.
  • Make an impression, ask great questions, and follow up with recruiters after the fair.
