Kutztown University SBDC Set to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in Harrisburg June 18 for Hennick Construction, Inc.
HARRISBURG, Pa. – To celebrate the completion of 12 upscale townhomes in suburban Harrisburg, David Hanula, founder of Hennick Construction, Inc., will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at the project location, 900 Gregs Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17111. At the ceremony, a ribbon will be cut in front of family, elected officials, chamber members and local business people.
Following the footsteps of his father, Hanula is a blue-collar worker who has dedicated his career to building homes and working in multiple construction trades. After mastering his craft, Hanula established Hennick Construction, Inc. in 1985, located in Fredericksburg, Pa., where he serves Lebanon, Dauphin and surrounding counties.
Hanula applied for a consultation with the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center (KUSBDC) after a bank withdrew from his project. With the SBDC, David worked with business advisors Martin Brill and Mark Rentschler in developing a business plan, as well as financial projections and assumptions to secure a loan to complete the townhouse project.
“Working with David to complete the townhouse project was very rewarding,” Brill stated.
“David faced many setbacks throughout the duration of this project, but the result is stunning,” Rentschler noted. “It was a pleasure working with David and helping him secure the financing needed to complete the project.”
Hanula explains that while he might have been able to do it on his own, working with the SBDC made the process of acquiring a loan more comfortable and quicker. “I’m looking forward to working with the SBDC again on future projects,” Hanula said.
The June 18 ceremony includes a ribbon-cutting along with press and media. The community is encouraged to join the event and visit the new townhomes. For more information please contact David Hanula at 717-926-6022 or by email at email@example.com.
