Human Rights Activist to Discuss Sex Trafficking

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Human rights activist Nicholas Sanelli will share his story about sex trafficking on Monday, Oct. 3, from 1 - 3 p.m. in Alumni Auditorium in the McFarland Student Union.

Sanelli will present an open and honest discussion about his experience with sex trafficking. He will cover addictions, trauma, gender identity, mental health, and the risk factors for sex trafficking.

Sanelli is an advocate for humanizing domestic sex trafficking as well as addiction, and this presentation will discuss these issues and bring awareness to them.

The Frederick Douglass Institute at Kutztown University is an organization that encourages development of equality and diversity among faculty, staff and students through scholarships, research, forums, exhibits, conferences and visiting scholars. The Institute encourages scholarship and facilitates the exchange of ideas around issues of cultural diversity and social equality among members of the campus community. Specifically promoting activities to increase awareness of multicultural issues and promote racial harmony. This event is free and open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
