Fascinating Fiction: Victorian Specialists Follow the Rise of Gothic Literature
This issue of the Tower
highlights a fascinating look at the scholarly activities of English
professors Dr. Anne DeLong and Dr. Curtis Herr who edit the only
academic journal dedicated to the study of Gothic literature focused
on the vampire legend. The magazine also examines how educational
technology has changed over the years and transformed the modern
classroom.

The Winter 2010 Tower takes a look at the Department of
Electronic Media and the many alumni who have successful careers in the
fast-paced telecommunications industry.
The magazine visits with Jane Schmoyer-Weber
’75, director of the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, Mont.,
and takes a trip back to the days when students commuted to Kutztown by trolley.
News from around campus includes stories about the Ronald R. Rhein Environmental
Study Area and the Golden Bears men’s basketball game against Villanova at the
