Winter 2010 Tower - Lights, Camera, Action
The Winter 2010 Tower takes a look at the Department of Electronic Media and the many alumni who have successful careers in the fast-paced telecommunications industry.

The magazine visits with Jane Schmoyer-Weber ’75, director of the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, Mont., and takes a trip back to the days when students commuted to Kutztown by trolley. News from around campus includes stories about the Ronald R. Rhein Environmental Study Area and the Golden Bears men’s basketball game against Villanova at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. Inside you also will find a story about an alumnus who is a professional juggler, a teacher who races on the NASCAR circuit on weekends and an artist whose work is on display in Emeril Lagasse’s first restaurant in the northeast.

Also in this issue is the KU Foundation Annual Report 2008-2009. This special section recognizes donors and the positive effect their philanthropy continues to have on the lives touched by the university.
