Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to define the standards for undergraduate graduation with honors.

This policy applies to all graduating undergraduate students.

Policy & Procedure(s)
Kutztown University recognizes a student's scholastic achievement upon graduation by recording honors on the permanent record, in the commencement program, and on the diploma. The CGPA necessary for this distinction is:
3.40 to 3.59 – Cum Laude (with honor)
3.60 to 3.79 – Magna Cum Laude (with high honor)
3.80 to 4.00 – Summa Cum Laude (with highest honor)
