Trustee Emeritus

- Purpose and Scope
The Kutztown University Council of Trustees values the commitment and leadership of those who serve the institution and its students. The designation of Trustee Emeritus provides a meaningful way to recognize and honor outstanding trustees at the conclusion of their service, celebrating their distinguished contributions of time, talent, and resources to the university.

Eligibility / Criteria
A trustee shall be eligible for consideration as Trustee Emeritus if he or she:

Has served a minimum of ten (10) years as a member of the Kutztown University Council of Trustees, and
-
Has demonstrated distinguished service to Kutztown University through leadership, advocacy, and support that advances the mission and success of the institution.

Privileges
Trustees conferred with Emeritus status will be:

Eligible to participate in academic processions and ceremonial events in which current trustees take part.

Invited to university events, ceremonies, and activities to which current trustees are invited.

Listed as Trustee Emeriti on the official Kutztown University website and in appropriate university publications.

Eligible for additional privileges as may be approved by the President of Kutztown University.
Note: Trustee Emeritus status is an honorary designation. It does not confer the right to be present at any Executive Session of the Council of Trustees, voting rights, membership or any role on the Council of Trustees
