1. Purpose

   The purpose of this policy is to define the population served by the office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS).

   This policy provides eligibility guidelines for services provided by CPS to all referral sources within the University community.

4. Policy & Procedures
   
   The office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) provides short-term, timelimited services to undergraduate students.  Graduate students seeking non-crisis related services are required to pay the health and wellness fee.  Referral and crisis intervention services will be offered to all students.  Students who present with needs that exceed the resources of CPS or who would best be served by a community provider will be referred to resources outside of the University.
